SERVICE INFORMATION
Our service is a mix of the traditional Lutheran service structure with contemporary music. We have drums and guitars for Joyful praise. We have traditional Scripture and Gospel Readings and we have Communion every other week.
For Communion we invite all to come forward. If you are a confirmed Lutheran, please receive communion,
if you want a personal blessing,
please fold your arms so we know.

WHERE DO I PARK

We have designated Visitor Parking spots reserved with green signs. But you can park anywhere you like, our lot is not big enough for the golf cart thing, yet…

WHAT ABOUT  KIDS?

We encourage kids of all ages in our church throughout the entire service.
Jesus knew the importance of teaching children about God, and we follow His lead.   activity bags with crayons and coloring sheets are located outside of our sanctuary to keep them busy. The Children’s Message is right before the Sermon. We have a Cry Room located directly off the sanctuary if your little ones are too enthusiastic, but Pastor Mark has 4 kids & 2 grandkids so nothing bothers him! The cry room has audio and visual of the service so you don’t have to miss a thing. we also have a staffed nursery.
(TLDR: Bring ’em)

WHAT DO I WEAR?

You can wear whatever you’re comfortable worshiping in. Some members come in their Sunday best while others come in jeans.
We all come to hear God’s Word,
receive his Blessing and praise Jesus.
Seriously, come as you are, you look perfect.

WILL I BE SINGLED OUT AS A GUEST?

No. Never, that’s just awkward.
You might get a welcome hug though.  We have a lot of friendly people here… Be sure to visit the Welcome Home desk
for a Visitor VIP Bag!

DO I HAVE
TO BE BAPTIZED?

Again, no. Everyone is Welcome at Joy.
If you want a baptism or have questions, we can certainly help you with that.

WHERE DO I SIT?

We don’t have assigned seats, sit where you like. We only ask that you sign the red information books which are passed around during service. We also have handicapped seating if you need assistance or more room.

DO I HAVE TO GIVE AN OFFERING?

No.  God’s love is free and so is our service.  Just enjoy the worship, community & music.
